Not only are Papelle bags green, they are also the result of the hard work of the Natipuan community in Nasugbo, Batangas. Over a year ago, a lot of them were jobless and basically not doing anything. Today, they are putting their talents to work with these wonderful bags. They skillfully hand-weave paper into numerous beautiful patterns that are strong and durable, making the modern day “bayong”. The created woven sheets of paper are then formed into stylish designs that are just waiting to share their story!
